We had a great time at the Older Person’s Fair in Chingford on the 15th March, hosted by Sir Iain Duncan Smith. It was lovely meeting the community and offering advice and reassurance by listening to their concerns and what they feel is missing from the community. We reassured them that we’re always available to help with any questions or point them in the right direction if needed. We had lovely responses from everyone and had lots of people talking about what services we offer as well asking for advice on regarding themselves as well as people looking to get advice for their loved ones. We always like to reassure people that our door is always open if anyone needs to come in and have a chat especially as anyone looking for care will know it is a huge step for them and they need to feel reassured and not feel pressured into making choices they don’t feel is right for them around the type of care they want or need.
