All staff and clients of My Willows have been transferred to ensure continuity of care and employment
In Home Care is one of the top 3% of domiciliary care agencies with a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating in the country. Demand for in home care services has increased by over 20% since 2011, leading to the company’s expansion across East Hampshire and West Sussex. Services include hourly and live-in care across a wide spectrum of needs for the elderly and adults over 18 years:
Andrew Needham, Assistant Director of Community Services, Somerset Care explained, “Quality of care is of paramount important to us and to offer the best possible service, we need to concentrate our My Willows Domiciliary Care in the West Country where our head office is located. After much consideration, we approached In Home Care due to the quality of care they provide in Hampshire. They share the same core values as Somerset Care – that everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, beliefs or disability deserves to have their needs met with understanding and love in the comfort of their own home. A reliable, high standard of personal care is the passion of both organisations to ensure the best possible quality of life”.
Paul Reynolds and Claire Simmons, Joint Owners and Directors at In Home Care said, “We are delighted that In Home Care were invited to acquire the My Willows service in Hampshire. We will ensure continuity of care for 30 clients and continuity of employment for 18 staff. We achieved the CQC rating “Outstanding Care” for providing clarity, a very personal approach, compassion, friendliness, gentleness and warmth across all our services which will now extend to our new clients and staff. Alexis Davey, Operations Director and Registered Manager at In Home Care has managed this whole transition which has seen our care increase overnight by an additional two hundred hours per week”.
